The Clare, Gratiot, and Isabella coalition was formed in the spring of 2016 with only a few members, since 2016 the Coalition has grown to 20 members. The goal of the CGI Human Trafficking Coalition is prevention and community education. As of March 2021, the Coalition took on a new name of R.I.S.E. Human Trafficking Coalition.
This coalition includes individuals from Clare, Gratiot, and Isabella counties who are passionate about putting an end to this form of modern-day slavery.
The group meets monthly and is open to the public. Contact Rachel Chambers at rchambers@riseadvocacy.org for the link to join these monthly meetings. If you are part of an agency and would like to host a presentation on human trafficking, please contact R.I.S.E. at (989) 773-7960.
